prefer it much over the too fast, over scaled MVA Encore series with their just bad AI and exaggerated everything.

But if you hated those two Milestone games you may not like this. Personally, I enjoyed those a lot.

A lot of making a game play realistically is how YOU play. I don't whip a ton, I just try to stay low and ride as realistically as possible.
The only time I spent in MXGP 2 was in stadium series, so I have high hopes for this.

If you read the fine print below the picture it says milestone is scanning riders for their UPCOMING SUPERCROSS game release. May need to ask GuyB for the specifics. It would be awesome if they are updating riders/teams

I'm hoping it's to replace the bunch of random/no name riders in one of the videos I posted.

If you take a look at the left side of the screen at the standings you'll notice names popping on and off the board that you won't recognise.

Oh I'm so in on this new game.
The song was most definitely added by the guy that uploaded the video. Not part of the actual game.

That said you can listen to whatever you want while you play using the Spotify app on console. PS4 for sure. Thinking Xbox has it too.

GDub commented on the video on youtube and basically said, thanks for the video, but your rider needs some work. Their response was this: "That's the trouble with a first hands-on preview, you've never played it or seen it before"

I don't know much about having early access to test and make videos for a developer, but I would assume they could put more time into playing the game better if they wanted to.

Here's another response to a similar comment: "What can I say, first time playing the game, you're never going to be perfect, I don't know the tracks or bikes."

Props to GuyB for the speedy response. From GuyB:

Well, the rider in question was Mitchell Harrison. Last year he’d have been on Star Yamaha.

They had a crew at the Monster Energy Cup doing the same thing, but not everyone was there. I’d guess they’re filling out the roster in the current game…but that’s just a guess.

That Vegas video is really good. The graphics look absolutely awesome.

I do notice the riders kind of turning in the air while landing off the jumps into a 180. I do realize that riders also do this in real life. However in this game footage some of them are landing really sideways at speed with out high siding.

Where I think it would serve the game better in this particular situation is if they landed straighter like in real life, then grab the brake, compress the suspension, crank off a tight turn using the throttle, then blast out of it.

I know they are not done. They are getting very close.

Seeing how this guy found images of two 2018 bikes in-game (Im assuming these are from MES game coming out next month) Im pretty sure we are getting a update/dlc of the 2018 season. Or we could all be wrong an they are just getting pics for next years game.

Graphics look fantastic, and I'll be 100% buying it.....but I can't help but be a tiny bit critical of the video....the riders seem to lose no momentum at all when casing out jumps. Surely this isn't that difficult to fix....(that said, I am a physicist...but definitely no game developer) haha

Maybe he was just playing the game in gumby mode, and the effect is different in the harder difficulty levels....

I don't know. One of the scans is Mookie in black gear. But he was already scanned and in a previous video wearing different gear that is for sure in the Feb13th release.. I, too, think it is for the 19 game. I spoke to Ralph and he said they do plan on doing the next game so it would make sense to do scanning just like last year.

He's already been scanned. I don't get why they would need to scan him again since he's already in the database. Gear can easily be changed when you create your own rider in the game so the team could easily change Mookie's standard gear set for the next installment.

NFL, MLB, NHL, etc. don't scan players each year.

Edit: Either way I'm pumped we get to race Daytona again.

But NFL MLB and NHL dont have to scan stadiums and playing surfaces for each year...maybe since they are already there for the bikes and track, might as well also do updates for riders? I genuinely don't know, just theorizing. Certainly seems like a waste of resources to me but what do I know. Honestly, scanning the tracks seems like a waste of resources too. Could easily just replicate the tracks using the editor after each race is completed, based on how they look and stuff. But what do I know.
