Hi guys! Bought home a new YZ250F tonight

I would love to see what everyone has done to their yz's and get some tips on how to keep mine in good condition, or any tips and pointers on maintenance and setting them up

First ride on it



Added factory effex graphics and a yoshi slip on and that's how it still looks now.

Will the 19 have e-start? I’d like to get a 250f but I promised myself my next bike would be e-start.

I'm not sure about the '19 but I can tell you the 18' is very easy to start. I haven't had to kick mine over more than once

I'd love to see some maps. From what I've gathered mine has very explosive bottom end but falls flat very fast. Does anyone have anything to overcome this?

Have you ridden the bike yet? I don't agree with that at all. Yes the bottom end is the strong point but it's still got a very very respectable mid and top. For sure the most broad and linear power delivery of any 250f I've ridden and it allows you to both keep it in the "grunt" of the power or ride it a gear lower and scream that thing like a proper 250f and it performs great either way. I have not done any mapping yet on mine, but I'd imagine you can add a little bit more to the mid-top by doing so.

You may be correct. The only other 250f I've ridden was an 09' crf. I've spent more of my time on 450's so I might be asking a bit much

I ordered mine off motosport but any of the big online stores should carry it. I paid $380.
