Lawrence in the 450 National title hunt? ?

I would never have asked this before last night, but is it possible Jason Lawrence could turn heads outdoors on a 450, and possibly be a title contender?

After last nights race on the more outdoor style track, and the way he just rode right around/pulled away from an outdoor specialist like Mike Alessi, I seriously believe he could be in the hunt. Especially when you consider Stewart and Reed may not be there.

The 450 seems to suit him thats for sure. Looking at the lap times last night, until around lap 16 when he got tired, he was by far the fastest and most consistent rider each lap. Focus could be a factor in an outdoor series I suppose... guess we'll see.

maybe....but remember, there are sx tracks and there are mx tracks and then there's the daytona track. not sx or mx...very unique.

jason lawrence can ride like few others can...ya never know. gets his head straight and drops his agent and he can do anything he wants

He has had the ability to turn heads all year but has been turning the wrong heads. lol Little to early to try calling that one, he is the one who controls if he is in the national title hunt. I am sure most people on here are hoping he is in the title hunt, would make for more good racing and less off track drama.

He could make millions of dollars if he would just grow up enough to not get into trouble. He doesn't even have to train. Unreal how smooth he can make a track like daytona look.

What does it take to win an outdoor title? Talent helps. But, then you have to train your ass off. Extreme determination. Self discipline. A ton of heart. A little luck...maybe a lot.

He's got talent covered.

I don't see any of the other stuff. It seems to me, his only reason for trying is to piss people off. To prove the doubters wrong. But, that will only get him through a race or two. Then he'll get bored. Distracted. Do something stupid. Get kicked out for a race or several. Maybe go to jail.
