Kid is a complete dipshit yet he gets all the media attention.

Is it fair to the kids in the pits who do the right thing and act professionally yet get no media attention?

Nobody ever make a thread about them.

We as fans are f-ed just like jlaw.

We should talk about the true working heros of the sport not the dipshit kids who drink, do drugs, get fined, start fights in the pits, etc.

The mx industry is rewarding him with attention for being a dipshit. I'm happy Yamaha as disassociated themselve with him. Kudos to Yamaha.

Motodave,

The integrity of the sport is at stake.

What if Tony Stewart of Kevin Harvick acted like JLaw? Their asses would be booted out of the sport.

Lets just face it...motocrossers have an IQ of 10

I'm totally bored of riding!

There is like 10 tracks 2 hours from my house.

Tracks suck here in Socal.

Turn...table...Turn....table....Turn...table

BORING! I like the REM track but thats about it.

i've been to all of them and what is the point? Go around in circles just turning and jumping?

Why you think I am going fishing every weekend? Go riding is not the answer for me.

Is Lead the answer for you??

So you think that only the slack-jawed idiots who drink the night before the races, roll someone else's rental car at the races, fight with the fans, and fight in the pits--all in less than one year are the only people who are showing "who they really are" huh?

Maybe the racers who appreciate what they have, where they come from, and want to give back to the sport that has given them what they have are showing "who they really are" . Maybe they actually believe that they have a little responsibility not to be "choir boys" but to be hard racing athletes who realize they are in the spotlight and that their actions are held up for all--especially the young and impressionable--to see.

Ricky Carmichael
James Stewart
Ryan Villopoto
Jeremy McGrath
Timmy Ferry
Grant Langston
Doug Henry
David Baily
Kevin Windham

...and about a thousand other great riders who raced hard, won or lost, and never embarassed themselves or the sport. Even the king of bad boys Bob Hannah kept it almost totally on the track.

Ever consider that Einstein?

Yes, Reed should be on that list too. He has been a great racer and has kept virually all his battle civil and on the track. If he has had any personal problems, he certainly has not shown them to the whole world.

I grew up reading MXA and listening to the stories of motocross racers training hard.

It effected my life.

I started doing cycling to improve my endurance and eventually started racing USCF sanctioned events.

I also started mountain biking and running to improve endurance. I also squeezed those spring handle thingys to reduce arm pump.

You believe the bullshit that MXA spews? It all makes sense now.

At least Jlaw doesn't pack a firearm like some idiots in Pro sport like the WR for the NY Giants. I hope Jason does well tonight. Correct me if i am wrong about the firearm thing. Was Jason like this when he rode minis?

Unbelieveable!

Why didn't you start a thread about the true (in your opinion) working heroes instead of starting a JLaw thread then?

Why don't you start a thread about those guys you're talking about, instead of another one about Jason. All you're doing is adding more attention to the J-Law train. And Yamaha's disassociating themselves from Jason? See the video on Transworld where Jason is out using the Yamaha test track with Josh Hill this week?

Why not start one about Sean Hackley and the boys on those bitchen Blue Suzuki's at CC Rider or something?
Talk about a Dipshit! Tongue

Here let me start one of Hackley...

Today Sean Hackley crashed and will be off the bike for six months. Come back in six months for an update.

How about ANDREW SHORT stillwelding???

THAT KID IS KICKING THE ASS OF EVERYONE EXCEPT REED AND STEWIE...

I started a rant about him months ago but nobody even responed.

Wow, you call what Short is doing as "KICKING ASS"? Like with all caps? Seriously? I like Short, but he's in the 3rd-5th group and not a given to finish on the box. Villopoto is only 14 points behind him and he has a DNQ.

Why use Short to try to make Lawrence look bad? Lawrence can look bad all by himself.

Is that why you are so defensive?

I would think somebody such as yourself would not stand for dipshitedness.

Hey, what happened Lawerence fans, your wonder boy is listed as a DNS.

and so what if he can pull down a "top 5". Hell, so can Preston, Hamblin, and many others.

Nothing will be more entertaining then finding out what fast food training program Jidiot ends up signing up for.

We should then schedule a date to meet there so we can all give him shit when ordering.

"I said no pickles"

Maybe we can gather up a charity appearance fee for somebody like Dungey or Troy Lee to come in and order.

I am looking forward to the day when he is an amusing footnote used as an example of wasted potential and the consequences of bad decisions, both by himself and those that continued to support such an idiot.

Two things:

1) I don't put together JLaw's bikes.

2) You are right I don't stand for dipshitedness and is why I asked you the question I did.
BTW, on a more serious note do you have go to the Del Amo 18 theaters? Best theaters in the South Bay. I live very close to the South Bay Galleria but refuse to go there anymore.

No I don't know how hard MC partied 96-99, do you? If you do please share this information.

I do know he says he beat himself in 97. BTW, if Lamson wouldn't have taken him out twice at the Coliseum opener or if Jeremy hadn't made an unforced error in the sand at Pontiac he'd still won.
