Glad to see he is doing well and finished school. He was so fast and talented, hated to see him get the injury bug and it force him out.

What contrast...from star rider-with everyone kissing your butt all the time, and asking for your autograph...to substitute teacher, putting up with a bunch of kids that have never heard of you and just want to give you crap.

Always been a fan of his...became and even bigger fan during the ISDE last year...

I really thought he'd be the guy to challenge Stewart. I think he finished 2nd in both series to Stewart in 04 as a rookie. Dominated the 1st round in MX in 05 if I remember correctly. Then all downhill from there.

I always liked Hepler as a rider, and he seems like a really good guy, glad to hear he's adjusted well to life outside the sport.

Broc was really really good. The Iceman owned Steel City!

I remember some epic take-outs between Broc Hepler and Andrew Short.

Anyone remember where/when these took place? I'd love to go back and find one.

Wasn't it 2006 when he came back midseason from an injury and walked all over RV at Millville? I also remember in 2004 when Stephane Ronda suddenly challenged Stewart for a couple races outdoors, Brock was only a few seconds back the entire time but never got credit for those amazing rides staying so close to a then untouchable James

Nice story!
He was right about changing tracks nowadays. Keep it like they are.

Broc showed up at the Ohio Sprint Full Gas Enduro a few weeks back and won 2 of the timed tests on Saturday then didn't ride Sunday because he had a prior commitment to race a local MX.

Still hauls ass!
