Why didn't you take advantage of an off weekend to go riding?

Hell even on race weekends you can watch the races later that same night.

The weekend wasn't weird for me, but the week has been "off" with the lack of moto podcasts other than the 1hr main event episode.

The US Open (Erin Hills) is ~5 miles from our home- Some locals have been renting their homes for big dollars. Heard as high as 40k for the week. Co-workers neighbor got 19k for the week renting to the media...

A buddy of mine has a place one block off the main drag in Sturgis, and during the rally rents spots in his yard for tents. Makes 20 spots in his front and back yard and charges $150 a night. He's said he's never had an empty spot. He actually relies on that income every year.
