The 52mm fork can be setup to run fine for anyone. I have had my main springs changed and my preload springs changed and now the forks are very good. Plush on the chop and still don't bottom out on the large hits. From what everyone says the 48 is much the same and perfect for most of us.

Haha 50+ on cone valves... pfft old guys.

Now 40+ that's a different story.. Doh!

In all seriousness good suspension makes the difference the next morning going up and down stairs.

Hi guys! I got the WP CV 48 on my FX350 2017. Solid forks! I had the issue with the rebound knock/clunk, but send it to a local suspensión shop and said it also happened something similar with the Ohlins. Had to do with the preload springs... He sorted that one out.

But another issue that I am having is some leak between the preload adjuster and the top cap (see pictures). Has anyone else had a similar problem? I been told that it has happened before but it seems that you can even change the complete cap and could happen again... Maybe manufacture problem?

There are some o-rings between all that stuff I believe. Maybe changing those out is all you need.

Thanks CarlinoJoe. We already changed those orings (not so easy to dismantle the cap to change them..) but they leaked right away. It seems to me that it may be related to the torque on the triple clamps and the tolerance of the cap itself. Something going on between those to variables that make the problem. So wanted to know if someone else has had those issues.
Thanks!
