My 08 Honda 450 is stuck in 3rd gear. It happened as I was coasting, with the engine off down a big bumpy hill. I was up shifting and was going to bump start at the bottom of the hill. It wouldn't shift up any higher, so I figured I was in 5th. Started up just fine when I dumped the clutch, but then it wouldn't shift down. The shift lever, physically, won't move up. It will move down (without touching the frame), but will not shift into the gear below it. I rode it for a while and I'm pretty sure it is stuck in 3rd gear. I tried everything to try to get it to shift as I rode afterwards with no luck. It doesn't make any grinding noises or anything that obviously sounds bad.
Before I pull the engine and split the case I was going to see if anyone else has had this issue or might have some insight on things to try or what might be causing this. All constructive criticism is welcome!

Ended up being a cracked/stretched shift shaft. Cheap easy fix.
