Reed did that at Southwick and still raced the second moto, something Stewie would never do. Ever since that Unidilla crap have never liked him.

I seem to remember Reed getting a top three start at Pheonix and Houston (I think?), and Stewart still beat him.

So it isn't the starts that are causing Reed to finish 2nd week in and week out (though they aren't helping). Stewart is just to fast.

In order for Reed to win one of three things is going to have to happen:

1) Stewart gets a terrible start while Reed holeshots (this is the most likely in my opinion)

2) Stewart DNF's-crash out or mechanical it makes no difference.

3) Stewart shows up to race injured or sick.

That's it. It sucks to say, because I really want Reed to take this title, and I hope he proves me wrong and catches, passes, and leaves Stewart at one of these rounds...I really hope that happens...but I think the only person that can beat Stewart is Stewart. And it seems the Stewart on the track in the 08 nationals and this supercross season is FAR less likely to do what he's done in the past.

Regardles of if his shoulder was dislocated or not......He made that statement more than once.

Reed fueled this years fire too. Making statments like...

"I just want to kick his ass"
"Im going to show you guy why the #1 in on my bike"
"I plan on repaying Suzuki back with the Championship this year"
"I know the bike & team im coming from, and I know where I am now, I feel confident about this year"

And the list goes on and on.

I do notice though,... after 5 straight wins from Stewart, Reed has been pretty quiet recently.

It seems that the cockyness has swapped places.... now Stewart is the one that is pretty quiet and humble, even with all the wins.

You're right Void! He's showing EXACTLY why he has the #1 plate..............Because if James was racing last year he couldn't have beat just like this year.

That was an understandable statement by JS, the 450 was faster than the 250, Unfortunately Kawasaki didn't have it ready that year. Didn't really take it as a slam against them.

I hope Reed wins...but it's completely stupid to say he's got the speed to "catch, pass, leave" stewart. He just doesn't have it.

Only person that can beat James is James. Reed if bloody fast...faster than everyone BUT James...

Reed, prove me wrong. I really want you to win this title, just to spite L&M Yamaha.
