Anyone going to Seattle SX try to buy pit passes today? I was able to buy 3 last night but the rest of my group tried earlier and are getting error messages. I wonder if they are sold out because they are doing it indoors this year. In that case we are willing to trade tickets for pit passes if anyone is interested we would be willing to trade tickets for pit passes. We need 6 pit passes and have 8 extra tickets.

Good news: Found them on other sites
Bad news: They are now $30 each

I paid $10 yesterday!!

Unbelievable it went from a Monster can to $30.

I thought you could still bring a monster can and get into the pits?

I think only four races this year honored Monster cans. I think Feld realized how much money was walking around in the pits each race. It sucks cause now vendors can jack the prices up like they did, I have no problem with $10 but $30 is a bit outrageous.

That's crazy! We're going to the SLC race and when we bought our tickets it said 10 bucks or a monster can...30 bucks is insane!

I'm kindof curious on this too. I didn't plan on hitting the pits but my niece's are coming with for the first time so figured we'd hit them. Planned on the monster can but if that's a no go then we'll just hit the races.

Monster Cans worked at both Anaheims and San Diego. Also in the past at Vegas.

This doesn't say anything about a monster can, just that you need to purchase a pit pass.

You can do the monster can in SLC though, it does mention it there. They did do the monster can in Atlanta but not in Indy. Not sure why you can in some venues but not others.

Just speculating, but I heard Seattle was one of the more expensive cities to hold a race, so maybe this is how they plan to make up for the added cost?

It clearly says for Salt Lake City to pay the $10 or bring a monster can.

Nice. Going to be a short day tomorrow only 1 practice. 41 guys in 450 and less than 40 in 250.
