quick question on my 450 sx-f

I just picked up my 2017 450sx-f and I got the FMF slip on for it...Do i need to flash the ECU for just adding the slip on without the header pipe?

You should be good to go man, from what I was told only needed for the full system

It'll run fine. ECU tuning can always be beneficial but you shouldn't really notice any negatives without it.

Tokyo mods can flash your ECU for right around $100 and a day turn around time. Can't beat it. Like ML said though, you don't need to. But it will run better with the ECU mapped for the exhaust.

The exhaust manufacturers make the exhaust using stock mapping, bolt on setup.

However, if you did a remap you might gain a little more. Reach out to Twisted Development, they have some great maps!
