Not to beat a dead horse over the continual knee brace topic, but curious if anyone has put some time in with the C-frame knee brace? I've searched the interweb and found a few threads/comments here and there, but very little current feedback from brace wearers that may have switched or tried them. ML512's product review was helpful, but I would like to hear from anyone that has put some laps on them since his write-up.

I've had mine for a year now. They are amazing. The only knee brace I've ever owned that you forget you even have them on. Took my buddy a year to convince him they were awesome. He finally got a pair and said he wished he hadn't waited so long.

Thanks ccstrebe. What size do you wear? I measure out on the line between a S/M and L/XL. I was able to try a pair on at a nearby shop, but they only had the L/XL in stock. They seemed to fit well, but wasn't sure how they vary between the sizes. I'm really interested in giving them a try. Have they been fairly durable for you? What brace did you wear before those?

I have had no issues with durability, they are built well. Couldn't tell you how they vary between sizes. I bought them direct from Leatt and they helped me determine what would be the best size for me.

I've had 661, Asterisk, and EVS. All of them made me feel like I was bow legged and I had no feel gripping the tank and non of them were comfortable.

I can't compare them to any others as they were the first pair of true braces I have worn.

The big thing for me was the ability to feel the bike at the seat/shroud area with my knees and they do allow for that.

It took me a little bit to get them correctly fitted, but now they stay in place and as mentioned above I have no issues walking or riding in them.

Weird thing being a first time brace wearer, I really couldn't tell I had them on And didn't think they were doing anything until the first time I forgot to bring them with me to the track. When I had my old set of knee guards on I felt naked and not as stable at all.

Overall the quality has been great with 1 year of wear and tear, I was being lazy and broke a patella cup off when I pulled my pants up to quick and leatt www awesome and replaced it for free!

Overall I am very happy with the brace and can happily recommend them!

I prefer POD, but knee braces are like shoes... Not all feel the same to each person. I think fit is the most important part of a knee brace, find one that fits you snug and allows normal movement and you are good.

Do any of you that use these get a sharp, deep bruise-like pain on the front / middle of your thighs after riding? Just picked up a pair of these braces, did a 20-minute moto around my turn track to test them out, and when I stopped, it felt like someone hit me with a baseball bat on both legs.

Love the feel of the bike with them and the freedom of movement is great, just wondering if I had them too tight, or if this is common to new knee brace wearers.

When I started wearing my EVS carbon braces I noticed my quads getting strangely sore after I would ride due to the support and using my legs way more. If your leg muscles aren't really strong or you started wearing your brace due to an injury this may be your answer.

Thanks for the reply. No injury, my kids actually talked me into wearing them (old knees tired from decades of running / military training / racing). But after only 20 minutes they hurt as much as they did a couple weeks ago after racing two classes / four motos on a rough track.

I usually race two classes a day, and hit the gym pretty regularly, so I'm not in pitiful shape. But I did 30 minutes on the Concept 2 rower / setting 10, the day before which is always a hard workout, so I'm not 100% sure it wasn't a combination of events. The pain was way more than I thought it should have been after that rowing workout (I do that every week, along with elliptical and stationary bike training).

I just got a pair and have rode with them only a few times now but I forgot they were even on! Best knee braces I've ever had.
