Challen Tennant...when is his debut?

With all the talk about Cameron McAdoo (which is deserved), one has to remember that Tennant tied him in points at the MEC All-Star race last year, but got second overall after a crash in the last moto. I had heard that Tennant would do Arenacross to get his points for SX next year, and maybe do the Nationals this year. He's Yamaha Star Racing and instagram shows him doing SX with Reardon, but he's really flying under the radar. Just curious if anyone knows what's up?

you should see mr. Tennant do the later west coast arenacross rounds to achieve his Sx license .

Thanks for the feedback! I'm from the Houston area and always follow the local riders coming up there...good luck to him.

keep your eye and social media on lane shaw also . local pro . He completed his road to supercross points in arenacross also just few weeks ago .

if your a Houston rider you should recognize him, he actually is best buds with challen and does some riding and training with him .

FWIW, I think he is 1 year younger, AMA wise, than McAdoo. That would put his debut along the same time frame.

ha...yeah I noticed that Shaw guy as he's actually from my hometown....he led an Arenacross recently and then crashed or something....my screen name is actually from a track there in Alvin in the 70's called DirtWorld......lol......I'm old school and can't even ride anymore, but still follow the sport and the local guys....

Yes sir , hometown of Alvin . That's where I live . I currently train mr.shaw . challen should be racing this weekend in Oregon arenacross . Would expect him to be a podium guy . Excited to see him race

Good stuff. I guess Shaw is the fastest guy out of Alvin since Travis Elliot and Derek Gerdes. Good luck to him and Tennant.
