So I have bled the front brake 2 times and replaced the fluid comepletly twice... the problem is that I can use the brake about 20 times and then the pads lock up and will not release unless you bleed the pressure off at the caliper. So basically each time you pull the lever it adds just a little more pressure to the system until it's locked up. It prevented me from a whole day of racing today and I'm bummed out. Y'all got any knowledge of what to do ?

It can also do this if you put too much fluid in the master.

Well I was told to clean the little hole on the banjo side with a small wire.
I've done it but gotta run into town to get some more fluid. Hopefully it works, but why would the actual cable make it do that ? Everything seems to be working as normal.
No leaks or cracks in anything and none of the O rings were damaged. The bike has like 30hrs on it and still has the factory brake pads. Lol

master cylinder piston needs to be inspected for proper offset and travel. If the piston is located too far towards the reservoir relief, when the brake lever is released, the piston may continue to block the relief port, in effect leaving the brakes on. If this happens, the dragging calipers will quickly build enough heat to expand whatever fluid is in the lines, and since it cannot escape into the reservoir, will press the wheel pistons harder and harder, creating more heat, until the system locks up.

+1 with paw paw also. more likely given the hours on your bike.plus its paw paw.

let us know plz. its how we get learntWink

Well... i cleaned the hole, filled it up with fluid and rode it around the pasture today. It locked up twice agian and I bled the pressure off both times at the caliper... after the 2nd time it didn't do it agian. But the reservoir shows to be low in the sight glass. So really I have no idea at this point. I'll be taking it to the pros tomorrow. I just wanna go ride !!!
