sff forks on a crf450?

Is it beneficial? Will crf250 forks bolt right up?

I like the idea of being able to convert to spring at a later date but am trying to figure out if it is worth it.

And input is greatly appreciated

I have a 2015 CRF450R with the Showa spring fork conversion off a 2014 CRF250R. forks were rebuilt with Race Tech springs, and new seals bushing and fork oil. Luckily the conversion was already done when i bought the bike (bought it off my buddy who rode it for 24 hours total. Also just bought my 2015 KX250F from the same guy) I think the conversion is worth it. Ditch the junk airs!
