1998 SplitFire Pro Circuit KX125 Build

Completed set!




I'm still parts collecting for this long term build. I always wanted to race Farleigh on a 92 Peak bike, but at the time the Blue Acerbis rear plastics were impossible to find. When Erlend had Acerbis remake them, my plans changed about wanting to race the 98 Splitfire KX, and built myself a 2nd 1992 Peak CR125, see other thread!

Now I wont be riding this 98 bike, I don't mind it having the magnesium parts on.

Don't think i've seen your email mate, i thought i had located a genuine 98 decal kit but looks like it may have fallen through Sad I have the full set almost modelled up exactly but I don't have anyone who can print the glitter. Flo colours and clear are no issues

Oh cool. Keep on trucking! I have a set of flo green shrouds that I'm saving for a pair of 98 split fire graphics.

I found some purple shrouds and got some evo stock graphics.

Yes i did the design for the jersey and the helmet wrap, but the pentagon decals were originals out of my NOS Throttle Jockey 94 decal kit (the graphics on the bike are NOS too) Smile

I have e green Pentagon and the upper splitfire graphics but ned the lower graphics.

Chuck are you still having trouble finding someone to print glitter? I just had these graphics done for my 97 Emig build. The glitter in them is more than originally but that's what I wanted. Let me know

Dare Decals said they could do metal flake and flo green. Maybe I'll be your guinea pig and try it first since mine will just be for hanging in the garage for now.

Dare did some hologram YOT graphics for me that turned out great. I was a little worried about the hologram but Ryan did an awesome job

And the seat cover is missing the glitter but the shrouds have glitter in them

Ryno from Dare is a friend of mine and we've discussed this kit at length, but he's got no way of doing the full glitter like the originals, hence the reason i haven't had my design printed up yet. He can do the flo colours no problem though, and if someone isn't as fussy as me, he could do a chrome/hologram inlay instead of glitter for you

I've got this seat cover and rad decals myself bud, but as you say they're the MXA versions, i'm looking for the Throttle Jockey ones the team used in 98

Hopefully you can see my 97 kit that mick did from ninetwo decals is full glitter. The colour is amazing and another thing we talked about was printing them on clear so the colour of the shroud could come through instead of trying to match the flo green as well, which can be tricky. He is definitely worth dropping an email if you want the glitter look.
