My forks make a slight clicking sound when I push down on them, you can feel it more the. Hear it. & it seems like the don't rebound fully.
My buddy says that the forks are sticking. I've took the front wheel off & tenstalled it all to spec along with the triples. Still does it. Anyone have any advice on how to get rid of this? It doesn't feel all that bad at the track but out on the trails it's a nightmare. Every root I hit wants to sling me off the bike. I know getting them serviced & re done would do the trick but I'm a little strapped for cash at the moment.
Thanks for looking

If you have covered everything externally such as the wheel, wheel bearings, triple clamps, brake caliper bolts, cable bolts, number plate bolts, triple clamp bolts, steering head bolts etc etc, then your problem will be internal and there isn't much you can do untill you pull them apart...

To see if there sticking, would be simple to pull the forks off and compress them one by one...

That all being said, broken fork parts could lead to more broken fork parts and even an injury if not addressed. A fork service is about to $150± so not too expensive. Or you can buy a fork cap wrench and do it yourself for much cheaper...

I think my 4cs make that sound and it's normal. If you don't feel any problem while riding, it's just a normal function sound of the fork.

If you can post a video it could help someone diognos it.

You need to check the Nut on the bottom of the "Twin Chamber Rod" that is at the bottom of the fork! Mine was loose from the Factory and when I Serviced the fork and saw it was holding on by 1 thread I talked to Tech-Care a suspension company here in Michigan, and they said it was common to see these loosen up. One guy had his back all the way off and DESTROY his lower fork leg $$$$$. LocTite those bad boys with Blue!

It is normal to hear a clicking noise .
It is a valve opening / closing only on one leg .
Can't remember which side

Thanks mark.
I've always heard the noise. It's just gotten waaaay louder in the past few days. Since then my from end feels horrible. It wants to dive & every time I hit a root I either end up on my ass or damn near close to it.

Yes, that's what mine did too, very vague and kind of deflecting front feel. I'm not saying that's what it is, but it takes new oil and 10 Min to find out if you have a potential BIG problem.

^^^^ Mine does that as well and it's a fairly new bike, I think it's a normal function of that fork like you said.

I've got 40 hours on the bike. I've had to switch to a 2017 motor due to some issues with the 16... I really don't want to put to much out here about what's been going on..... so maybe y'all can understand where I'm coming from & why I'm concerned.
Again thank you all for your input I really appreciate it
