Anyone tried the newer models, hows the sizing? A buddy was looking, and he doesn't do social media. Are they made by tcx, or someone brand them,? Thought they also made another boot. Thanks.

I have a pair of the pro 2.1 that I ordered this past fall. I haven't ridden with them since we only had two races left and I didn't want to try and break boots in during a race. They have an inner booty that fits pretty snug. I wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered an 11 boot and they are definitely tight. Without the booty they are huge so I'm going to see how well they break in. I also have wide feet, but they feel like they offer good protection and are great looking. There is a seam running up the center of the top of the booty which is a little annoying. I'll update after I ride in them. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks, I heard they run small. Tcx make another boot branded different?

The Fly Sector boot is a TCX boot with Fly logos on it.

They're good. Sizing spot on in my opinion and the Michelin sole lasts really well.

TCX used to make the Nike boots...

I picked up a pair of the new TCX boots at less than half price, as the shop was going out of business. I'm not that excited about the colour, but I'll get over it.

I run a-stars tech 7 in a US10/ EU 44.5
And the tcx also US10/EU 44

Both boots fit my foot perfectly, the tcx are a lot stiffer and heaver, but feel very supportive. I love the tech 7's for comfort, but they do feel like an old moccasin compared to the tcx. The tech 7 also wore through the sole after only 20hrs with standard pegs, not very impressed with that.

One more thing I thort was good, is the tcx comes with a spare buckle, where as after only about 5 rides I busted a buckle on the tech 7 while I was putting them on! And had to shell out $45 for a full buckle kit.
