Tracks in NC??

Hopefully the track is better. I remember racing Ultra's here back in the mid 2000's. They would water and the track would be so hard packed it was like riding on ice.

But either way, happy to see another track in the area!

Yea I'll be interested to see what becomes of this. If they do bring it back, hopefully we see Damon & Zack Bradshaw out there like the old times. I never saw Damon ride Top Gun, but one time in 2002 I raced there and Zach showed up. Totally waxed the A class.

www.victory-sports.com is the local motocross series, AMA district 29 just released a 2017 schedule of races.

Man, I remember that actually! I was only on 50's at the time, and I remember Zach hitting the finish line and jumping the whole thing. I don't remember much other than the way he was jumping it, nobody else was doing it that way, or something like that. I remember they'd be pitted out of a big Yamaha trailer back behind the announcers tower right near the bathrooms and back of the bike shop. I don't remember much about him other than he was way faster than anybody else out there. I remember being amazed at the whoops after the finish because the A class would skim them, and as a small kid, that was awesome. I also remember after Stroupe didn't have a ride around 2010, he showed up to an outlaw race there and rode a brand new KXF. You knew it was him because he had all his rockstar gear from when he was on factory Suzuki and he just kind of came out of nowhere. Also, nobody gets to ride a band new bike unless they are someone special. It was cool to see him out there just cruising around since that was the track that is closest to his hometown.

Got a lil backyard track here in the hood.. Prime real estate. Located between Freedom Drive and Wilkinson. I can throw a pebble to the Paper Doll
