Track Supplies

hey, new to the site, looking for some info on where to get some things for our track, haybale covers, banners, flags etc.
emailed a few brand names for info but never heard back from any of them, do you need permission to put up Monster Energy (for ex.) banners/fencing around a corner? any info is appreciated thanks.

I would definitely get permission. Monster (for ex.) may not appreciate the free advertising.

Main question is where to find any of that stuff, spent hours on google and their sites trying to find stuff.

Not gonna find it. My local dealer gets a few hay bale covers a year and he gives them out to the local tracks. You can get some stuff at Rocky Mountain ATV. They have some hay bale covers and the yellow track markers!

I'll check them out, that sucks there isn't much! It would be nice to deck a local track out like a pro national for races. There is some companies that build custom banners/fencing/flags and all that but it is not cheap. For a non-profit its a big task to come up with money for that on memberships alone.

Instead of providing free advertising for multi-million dollar corporations...... Why don't you go around to local businesses that support the moto community?

I am sure they would love free advertising or at the very least, make them pay for the covers....

This would give the look you are after and also help those that support the guys on and off the track....

Why would you want advertise free for companies that throw money at everything else to get it?

Haybale covers are not designed to last long and Haybale aren't going to last long either if you are anywhere the they will get wet.

If you decide to get some anyway check the dimensions.a lot of them are sized for west coast bales which are much bigger than other parts of the country.

I think moto tees makes them

Contact your local Parts Unlimited dealer. They should be able to get a roll or two of hay bale covers. I forget how many come on a roll, but they work pretty good. They aren't the good ones, and are plastic (think of a thick garbage bag), so they won't last forever....


One thing you can do is find a boat dock manufacturer or marina close to you. Most should have a lot of old Styrofoam laying around that they want rid of.... you can cut it easily to the size of your bale covers.

Contact tracks like Unadilla, Red Bud or Buds Creek. Or any National track or one that runs big events. You can also contact MX Sports and they can get you in touch with Jon Ayers who does a lot of that work through Gear Race wear.

I would also check out stuff from companies like Matrix Concepts, and maybe some custom banners for mxgraphics.com or even MotoOption. But tell MX Graphics Alexander sent you and he could help you out a little

Oh we have plenty of signage for all of our local companies, around the track, a big thank you sign with all the logos on the way in. Most of them didn't want signs but we said no way we need to show who helped us here.

The sport is still growing around our area so more moto brands might entice more people to look up what the brand is and go "oh that's sweet, I should buy that" and then they will go into our local motocross shops and hopefully buy a bike or something. We had did have Yamaha haybale covers but I'd like more different brands and they also were just the plastic ones in a roll, left out in the sun they turned completely white.

we're up in northern Alberta, Canada its a little more difficult to find stuff, Thanks for all the input everyone.

Gear Custom Products can make anything you could ever want to put near a track. They make every piece of signage at the nationals from repeater to banners to arches to tents to hay bale covers to table covers to truck wraps... literally anything. Their Facebook has way more pictures and examples than the site too.

I personally wouldn't spend money on stuff like that until the track is well established and you have a solid income stream. Wheat straw bales are $5 and work just fine. So do stacks of tires
