I just finished a replica of my first race bike I ever had wanted a 92 model but couldn't fine one so I had to settle for a 97 and make it look like a 92

Nice!

Never had an 80, went from a rotary valved KM 100 to a KX 100, then took a jump in height and ended up on the 125 in my profile pic.

Nice job on the restore, always liked the 92s.

Great job I'm in the process of restoring the same bike.. if I can get the powder coat right. I may just stick with what I have or I'll be on pc# 3

Man, that looks pretty damn good. Is that "kawasaki green" powder coat? It is a little brighter. I used that on my '93 Hotwheels KX125. It's not that noticeable once everything is all together. But, I understand your concerns.

Nice seat cover by the way! Is that original or a remake? The blue looks correct compared to others I've seen. And the tank and shroud look brand new?!

And offer228. Nice work on that kx80! That's my favorite year kx for sure.

Thanks 761...Funny you ask..I've been wondering if it's Kawasaki green myself .. originally that is the pc I had the frame done in .. I had it redone "supposedly" kiwi green but I can't tell a difference between the two. I'm thinking he may have glanced at the paper work and thought it was kawi green( 2 different painters) Yes that's an original seat. I've hunted down all oem .. getting ready to put it together soon. I'm still pondering going for another pc ..hate to be in the same boat again.
