75 degrees.....didnt have to run the water truck 1 time....stayed like this all day long......35 riders today.....definitely wanted to share this ....cause i would want to know where the best dirt is.....the owner and his boys take absolute PRIDE every time their in their equipment......im not getting anything in return for sharing this with my fellow MXers.....i just think anybody can appricate this....so make a trip.....ive been 5weekends in a row...will definitely doing my training here for Lorettas....its the closest thing to whats to be encountered in Tenn.....look forward to seeing more riders.........

I went to LACR this Saturday for the first time and really liked it. I also didn't feel it was a "hard pack mess by 1 pm". LACR is 1 hour and 40 mintutes from me....is it worth the extra 2 hours (approximately 1 hour each way) of driving to go to this track over LACR?

Cal city takes me just at 3hrs 40min..... From Vegas.....LACr is a great track but still doesnt get nearly as deep ruts and shares these conditions...which is what your gonna encounter at LL......i myself tend to look for something thats gonna give me the closest thing to Tenn i can find, i was a die hard Glen helen guy to do my LL prep until i rode at CC....the S.W LL qualifiers are all on tracks that are pretty hardpacked ,which the National is nothing close to hardpacked. So training at ACP Arizonia...Perris..Milestone..Pala( although it does get some damn good ruts)....GlenHelen (good ruts) is great for the Sw qualifiers....however, the national is loamy and the ruts are deep and long....... this terrian is corner to corner muilt-lined loamy conditions....im not bagging on other tracks let get that straight.....im just making a point that this track offers something differant which i feel many riders could benifit from ,and others who just want to ride ,it offers great conditions.....im definitely not a photographer, but i think the pics say enough.....they didnt use the water truck 1time...on any weekend ive been there, this dirt maintains moisture all day long....as it gets deeper...the conditions get rougher the track stays very consistent.....just 1ride, and u will be back....thats a fact!.....ive race all over florida...up and down the east coast(which is full of prime tracks)..and ive seen some of the central and northen cali tracks and they are sweet......save all the BS negitive comments, just trying to give other riders another track to sharpen their skill on.....

Do you come up 395 north to twenty mule team road then go west to get to the track? I'm assuming you do if your getting there in less than 4 hours. Just curious .

Thanks for the reply. I moved out here a couple years ago from New Hampshire and all I have ever rode was loam or sand. I actually really like ruts and I have been told to try Perris because it is supposed to get rutted there. I'll guess I will have to check out this place.

perris is a great track...the owner is a amazing guy....salt of the earth man,...however these are completely 2 differant worlds...theirs definitely nothing loamy about perris or milestone, their conditions are awesome and definitely prepare you for the rest of the westcoast....i think the lack of a sand medium is the cause....both tracks get very hard and square edge bumps relatively fast with them being so popular, their attendance numbers are always strong, but both top notch tracks....if your from up north then it will be a welcome change from the semi hard- to hard pack of Socal...and it stays prime all day...from open to close.....

Elsinore gets some pretty nice ruts as well.. perris ruts are completely different from elsinore (usually pretty deep in the corners, about the only place it ruts up) and then theres glen helen, my personal favorite at the moment, ill have to check out cal city

Ive been meaning to get back over to elsinore, heard they have been doing a good job over their
, now thats gotta be a challenging track to up keep, its huge ......i usually end up going to Pala, cause man its Pala....look forward to seeing some new faces out at CC...remember to take the 20 mule team road west, off 395N...if your coming from NV ,Az, Ut...and some 395S or 58E cali guys....if your coming from 58west then its gonna be easier to take the California city turn off 58.....
