Just wanted to run this by some of you guys for your thoughts. Also not trying to troll any suspension companies either.

I'm looking to get a revalve and respring front and rear on my 16 KTM 450sxf. I just got off the phone with Race Tech and got quoted $1550 for the service. That seemed on the high side to me. Just wanted to get opinions from anyone who has had their service on the 4CS stuff. Also anyone have any recommendations on other companies that can make the 4CS stuff work?

Also I have dealt with the 4cs before. Never could get it to feel good from our local tuner. I ended up putting Ohlins TTX cartridges in the forks and they were great. I"m just trying to keep the cost down on this bike.

To get them working to their best ability with Factory Connection I bet you would spending $1000-$1200. It's because you need all the valves and little gadgets everyone made for them. If you are going to spend that kind of money, keep an eye out for used cone valves or Ohilins. More bang for your buck IMHO

Give ZIP-TY racing a shot at this. This is Ty Davis racing. He did my Husky 450 and it was spot on the first time and the cost including all shipping cost was much less than what you have shown as your cost.

Send them to TBT arizonia.....ask for the KYB conversion....its the best thing you can do to the forks if you want amazing results...or just let them revalve them and get you set up....TBT is setting a new standered of greatness here in Socal....guys with all differant forks....TAC...SFF...SpringSSS...4CS.....this guy has got himself a level of results from numerous people that is very impressive, talk to Jonathan hes the guy .....

If you are doing an sss/kyb conversion, then try protune in ohio. Corey does quite a few sets in that area.

Almost went this route with my last set of 4cs forks. Only problem is TBT wants $1600 for the KYB conversion. I opted for a set of Ohlins TTX that were a few hunderd cheaper and I was able to pull and resell when I sold the bike. The KYB's pretty much dont have any resale value. And the Ohlins is right on par with the KYB if not better.

Really I'm just looking for a quality revalve that isn't going to break the bank.
