Great bike, i had a 13 with no issues at all and got it setup really good pretty easily. Sold it at 65hours with no problems at all. Then i had the fortune to find one a couple of weeks ago that was basicly brand new only ridden up and down the street the bike had never seen dirt or been washed. I have Öhlins cartridge forks and a Öhlins ttx shock. Oversize front rotor i have the galfer non floating one and i like that better then the Batfly i have on my yz250. Stiffer clutch springs is a must. Change the stock gear lever for a straighter/longer one. With 13/51 gearing the engine is really good, not the over rev that the ktm and yamaha has but good enough. I also have a steering damper and that really helps with straightline stability that i before felt like a weak point on the Rmz. I think the biggest downfall to the rmz is the weight, i would love to try a Rmz that was close to the Ktm weight.

one of the best things about the bike is the amount of spare parts on e bay etc for them ,if anything does happen its very easy get cheap parts for ,because alot of parts fit from the 08 . for me on a tight budget thats a big difference

I have a brand new 2016. First off I'd like to say how solid bike felt. This is my first Suzuki and I've always heard they feel cheap, incorrect. The first couple rides I fumbled around with the shock and got it to feel right relatively easy. The forks are a serious pain. I'm a decent B rider and I ended up calling a friend for some help. What he came up with was 175 in the balance, 170 in the inner and 6 in the outer. Throughout the day the suspension gets better starts a little stiff but it works for me really well. Bike turns on a time. I suggest tightening up the steering from the stem a little it reduced the headshake it was having a little. I put Pro circuit clutch springs in but every other one. Made the clutch last longer during motos without making it impossible to pull. Overall after 2 solid months on this thing I love it. Very reliable from what everyone says too. If you're not putting a pipe on it use the lean coupler for the 2016. If you put a pipe on it use the regular one.
