Yeah, they are about 420lb's...

I really liked the camera angles ESPN used too.

More like 500 wet, and the suspension full of snow.

Up to 600 for a long track.

A few slednecks guys have pulled it into water.
Levi is a good guy.

Check a few sneal peaks here.

Man....this is CRAZY. And yes, those sled's are between 420lbs and 500lbs. If your riding a 600lbs long track I would imagine it's a work horse with a wide track and racks all over it.

The kid on Danes helmet was taken in an avalanche last year.

No, but a suspension full of slush is heavy and a 162 Inch long track with 3" tall paddles is probably 50 -80 lbs more.

Can't wait for the Snocross final! My good friends and training partners from Duluth MN, DJ Eckstrom and Bobby LePage are in it. Actually Bobby had sled problems last night so will be in the LCQ. Along with Mr. Double back flip Lavalie and Duluth native Shaun Crapo.

That track is sooo good compared to what we normally see and a decent lap time also. Will Tucker (another MN. boy) win it all again??

Crapo is a Idaho Native. People think Hibbert is a MN native also. Idaho too.

Speaking of the backflip, that should have been done different, but they didnt have the room to set it up different.

For a guy that runs 'sledneck' for a handle, you'd think you would be a bit smarter on this subject. A 151 2.125" weighs 61lbs.....so your sayin adding another 11" and 3/4" to the paddle is going to add 60-80lbs? Hmmmm. And I'm pretty sure he wasn't out boondocking in the slush before the big jump!

Yes born in ID that's true but Tucker has lived north of me for most of his life..If Tucker in particular was brought up in Idahom all his life, i would give you that one and i do give you Crapo as a true native of ID!

I have not talked to anyone today yet so i hope Levi is OK after that hard landing last night, are you there and do you know how things are going?

There a big difference between that, and a 162 with 2.5 or 3 inch paddles. And is it a 2.52 or 3 Inch pitch?

Also, if its a 1 ply or 2 ply track, and if its a ported track.

Also, by design, a Camoplast power claw is a bit heavier. And it could be a 1 ply, and/or ported, and/or 2.52 or 3 Inch pitch

Levis sled is a short track 121" and , probably 1.375-1.875 tall.
Rubber is heavy, and you can't compare really.

And a 162 Camoplast Extreme with 2.5 inch paddles in a 3 pitch weighs 62 Lbs. A 3 inch tall, more yet.

Same thing in a 174, 70-75 depending on the pitch.

I have about 10 tracks here, you can come weigh them.

Oh, one more thing, is it a fully clipped track or not? Add or subtract accordingly.

Need I say more?

The hibberts moved to MN in what around 1999? They are still prevalent in the West.

So where is this 60-80lbs coming from. If it's a 121", then it probably only weighs 40lbs. You remind me of a guy that was on here and beat around the bush all the time when asked for an answer.....I can only think of 4 of his user name's right now.....Hmmmm.....what kind of sled do you run?

I'd believe that probably dry with no gas

Burandts M8 is about that but with a 154 I think.. He also has about 25 grand in the thing too with lightweight goodies.

And I never said the track weighed 60-80 lbs more I said when you load the rear end with snow on a long track , plus the extra weight of a long track etc etc.

If you think Im lying, go stick one on a hillside and try to lift it.
Let me know how much more you think it weighs then.

Shit, just ask your buddy what he thinks his sled weighs loaded with slush in the rear end, snow in the tunnel and all around the suspension.

Levi Lavallee is a pretty sick motocross rider.

As are 99% of sledders. Gotta ride something for 90 days between seasons. Plus you need 2 months to fix all the shit from 9 months of riding snow.

Oct- June, even July.

Still not moto related.

And I'll have to disagree on the whole 99% of sledders are mxers. I'd say it depends on where you live. Here, I'd estimate that no more than 25% of hard core sledders ride bikes off road.
