I still maintain, the scrub is superficial...and there are very few times it is actually necessary or even effective (there were a few times in the nationals that I think it is used effectively).
When bubba was on a 125...that was unneccessary in ineffective.
having said all that...it sure is fun to watch.

I laugh at all the B, C, D class riders at our local tracks, that "scrub" every bump on the track...all they are doing is wasting energy, with no benefit in speed (though I bet they'd tell you they "feel" like they go faster when they do it). I think some pros just waste energy when they "scrub" all the bumps too. It's a fad, that is going to go the way of the dinosaur.

Surely you have standards here on vital. Where are the moderators when you need them? I thought James had security in place, this guy is stalker material. lol
