Getting the slug back together to ride a bit, and sell. Put an Athena big bore on it, and had the transmission polished. Interested in what MXA had for carb settings, the leak jet specifically, and rear sag setting. Or, anyone with personal experience, and a good memory. Bike's 10 model years old now.

I had a '05 if that helps

Stage 1 cams and a HC piston
Full Yosh cf
+ 1 in the rear
110 sag
Just a click down in the triples/ forks (so it was level)

Added the flex jet (easy after that)
- always kept the idle on the fast side

4sp, pure beast,'third gear everywhere

Good looking bike. Cool Thanks for the info, I thought those had a little more sag than the old school 95 mil I'm running. The 96 is a little underpowered, now that I've packed on some pounds. Riding a ripped and watered track doesn't help, hit the soft stuff and just bog right down.

I'm pretty sure I have a PDF of it on my computer. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Ya, just pull up the 2016 MXA test. Pretty sure it's the same bike just with updated graphics. Whistling Whistling Whistling

I had an '06 and the biggest improvement came from a HSC adjustment on the rear shock. Sag was 105, but went from the stock 1 1/2 (maybe 1 3/4) out to 2 1/2 out based on a local tuners recommendation. Completely transformed the rear and the handling overall. Bike was completely stock.

Wrong bike, 2007 is the older engine, chassis, carbureted, etc... You're thinking of the 2008 model.

Ya, but still pretty funny, though. Only missed by one year.

MXandSX, that would be great, any help is appreciated. Shock and forks are already valved for my weight, so the clickers won't mean much. Chassis tuning will be helpful.
