A Gajser with the championship in the bag could win the race or at least challenge Tomac but i think he will be at 80% and secure the title like any smart racer would do.

The most interesting thing for me is MX2, even if Herlings is in the same situation as Gajser. He has said that the title is what matters, but i still think he could challenge for the win.

I don't think so. 2 years of really bad injuries when he has gone balls out will make you think about the consequences.

Moto 1, i don't know what he will do.

Moto 2. If he has the title in the bag after moto 1, he will go balls out(i would guess).

30 minutes? I would be lucky to last 30 seconds!

I think Herlings is good enough to win the Kid hardly drops any speed during the entire moto and i've seen this year in the AMA nationals the difference between the first and last laps there is reasonable drop in pace by all of them
MY PICKS
MX2
1 Herlings (yes i believe he's the fastest off them al in race pace)
2 Forceer ( he's good just as anyone else + kid is a flyer out the gate so thats half the work done)
3 Webb ( If he could actually nail 2 starts he's in it to win it)

Wildcard - a 8th for Harrison

MXGP
1 ET ( for the obvious reason hes WFO everywhere hard to beat that )
2 TiGA ( maybe not as close to Tomac as he wants to )
3 Desalle ( real liking what I've seen lately and hopefully can continue )

Wildcard - a 8th for Wilson

Qualifying was horribly predictable though... Except for Bottas squeezing in there. Man, things have really derailed for Kyvat though...

I believe they both can clinch it in first moto if they finish in front of Sewer and Cairoli.

Jeffrey is 76 points in front of Seewer, so finish ahead of him and he's got the title. Gajser has to gain 10 points on Cairoli in moto one, or don't lose fifteen points on him overall. Titles will be deciced today.

Jeffrey has to be infront of Seewer to clinch the title in the first moto he's gap is 76 points ATM

Gajser needs to finish FIRST and TC must be at least 7th or worse in order for Tim to clinch it in the first moto

Yeah the 2 surprises was Bottas getting 5th and Kvyat only getting 17th! It still such a legendary race that it will always be exciting :D

Oh yeah, this is good. A lot of defense. I can kind of relax now since the Huskies have all but won their game.

Gajser is 19 years old and incredible. But he DNFd moto 2 at Assen, there is no way that he will take any unnecessary risks.

If he feels he can run for the win without being on the limit he will.

I forgot my login and requested it from MXGP. No response, probably pretty busy right now.

Whatever the turn out, excuses are likely to be rampant and both sides have valid arguments to suit their agenda...
