Haha I've had some ppl try to get me on that train, if I didn't have such a great personal connection with motorex reps and they have other awesome products I could do it . normal consumer I see it beneficial .. True tho ,don't need another oil thread haha
Synthetics have less drag and in racing that correlates to more hp (marginally). When you start adding up those fractions of a hp it does add up into whole numbers. Couple that with lighter parts (lightened crank), reduced friction via coatings (DLC, WPC, etc.), etc. etc. that's what separates the full blown race motors (Pro-Circuit, Proven, JGR, etc.) from the factory engines. You can't replace the skill of a rider but you can make a bike perform better.

I'm curious to know which local motor guys you're referring to.

I live in Katy but ride Freedom, Rio, Three trees, murphy's, red rock, Underground (Dallas), etc. Typically on a Saturday if the weather is nice I'll be rolling into Freedom around 8 or 8:30. I have to go to Austin this weekend and then fly to SC for the week next week.

The bike in my pic is my old YZ250. I'm on a 14 KX450F now.

Throwing on the Cycra Kit , anyone who has a new Yz , a big must , makes the shrouds have a much nicer transition .. Added bonus is it looks bad a$$

is the Cycra shroud intake screen a custom part, or is that how they're making them now? I like them a lot, I would like to swap mine out for those to get the benefit of the screens.

No question the Cycra shrouds are a big improvement over stock.

I believe that's how there making them now , and on the air filter cover , those little black pieces are removable to get more airflow . if you call Cycra direct speak to Dylan Reid and mention Justin Kopcak , should give you a little help on a kit .

Yup, I was there in a red silverado with black rims!

Were you in the group of 2 or 3 guys on Yamaha's to the east?

Lol, I feel really embarrassed now.

I got one of those free samples of Fore Arm Strong spray and was massaging the shit out of my arms before we hit the track.

I got my subframe back from the shop , lowered it 8mm which should really help with handling and the stance . alot of guys are going 10-17mm but didn't feel the need for that much seeing my shock is internally lowered

Also got a cool little billet piece from trick eng that goes into the swingarm pivot to make it flush so no dirt and rocks build up causing your brake to lock up .cheap and cool little piece .

Also have a GUTS racing complete seat on its way ,

Went with the carbon fiber base / light weight seat foam / and Nee Velcro system seat cover with pleats .

Graphics are in so I will throw those on tommorow ,

Ordered a titanium Yoshimura full system , so with the seat ,plastics and pipe I'm sure ive lost some weight ( much easier than losing body weight)

Lol think he's just a Mx fanatic so he enjoys it and loves doing it more than he is trying to make a living off it.

He did do my subframe , it's actually 9mm I just seen it stamped on there .

The all blue plastics look awesome, I'd put a number plate on it and keep it with the practice bike look!

I did the gas tank and the right number plate , the cv4 kit is just enough . and it's not a gimmick like some of the tapes out there .
