I just want to get some comments on this. I have found a product online called the "SOLO" made by AiM sports LLC. They have a device for MX including lap times through gps, speed, gearing, engine temp and some other features. Do you think this device would be beneficial for teams or for individual riders? They have a driver to connect to the ECU or CDI box of the bike, they only have Honda and Suzuki protocol's to get engine informatio right now. You wouldn't be able to see all the data until the end of each race/practice. I have tried this product out myself and I like it alot. Super easy to use. I have attached some photo's of myself with the product. They also have a brace to connect the device to the handlebars, which is convienant and is easy to install on the bike. If you guys want to know more, you can go to the website listed below. This is not a sale post of any sort, I just want to know if MX guys would think this would be helpful while racing.

You will be able to see lap times every times you pass the finish line.

It can be useful but would honestly would like to see fork and shock travel and speed so you can see what results happen to suspension changes correspond with lap times.

The SoloDL model claims to record lambda value "without additional sensors". How is that possible when MX bikes don't have O2 sensors?

This data acquisition concept has been addressed already. Litpro.

Reading between the lines, I deduce through your pictures (via style, form, etc) that not only are you not new to this sport but appear to be someone who would have quite a bit of knowledge in the sport. Enough so, that I find it very hard to believe that you have not heard of this concept or a current product like litpro.
