2016 ktm 350sxf. Was doing some work on the front end and when putting the front wheel back on, theres a gap on the right side of the hub and fork tube at the axle (left side as you look at it in the pic). The wheel is centered but seems weird like the axle needs to go in further...but it doesn't. Guess I shoulda looked closer when I took the axle out! Anyone have a ktm pic from the front? If you look at the other side, it's molded and that gap is closed. so I'm thinking it's right, but seems weird to have that space in there. hopefully that makes sense.

I can take a pic of mine if you want to see gap clearance, but what I do is slide axle through tighten axle till it spins on both sides then I tight down one bolt on left stub axle. Take bike of stand and pull front brake and bounce front forks a couple times allows everything to line up. Then torque all the front stub axles down

Mine is the same. As long as you have no movement there's no problem.

The axel nut only keeps the axel from backing out.... the pinch bolts do all the work after the assembly is centered as noted above. The front forks rank #1 as to what needs to be properly torqued on the chassis.

My 16 350 XC-F looks exactly the same... I think you're good.
