I've owned the game for about a month now. Like others I got mine off EBay from the U.K. First person is the only way to play. From this perpestive all of my complaints go away for the most part.

The graphics are simply incredible.

The clutch is useless so starts are a problem. On certain modes you can't go 1st person either off the start as well so you cannot see the gate drop. Unless you want to get a horrible start each moto I simply restart once so can gain my first person or helmet cam view again.

MXoN is very fun.

One thing they did fix was AI speed. On Hard or Realistic modes they are very fast, and maybe a bit too aggressive. Its no cake walk to win anymore.

I've only played 3-4 times online but so far I am not a fan. Getting taken out three times a lap by other riders (Not AI) is annoying to say the least. I wish they would open up the "No Collisions" option but it's turned off every race I have been in.

Whenever I try to search the DLC for MXGP2 on the xbox store, nothing shows up? Not released yet for U.S.? Been playing the actual game for awhile now..

Picked up the game in the US 2 days ago. So far I love it! Its more fun actually playing it than it looks when you watch gameplay online. I usually don't ride first person view but its really rad on this game. Glad I picked up the game. Hopefully they will make another one next year and improve on this series even more.

Any setup guidance? Don't get to play allot and that is going to take some time to figure out. Awesome to have the options though.

I never touch my suspension and rarely change my gearing, and when I do, I always end up liking medium the best.

Tends to dance around allot set to medium for everything. I'll play with it some more then. Just got it and only played it twice.

I just changed over to Pro Physics and Manual rider weight. It was sketchy at first but you can go so much faster. I went from getting my ass kicked by Medium AI to sweeping the last 6 motos I raced after making the change. This game is damn fun, just takes some getting used to.

My only real gripe with the game is the scale, I feel like the tracks are way too narrow.

Alot of my crashes come from getting out of the main line while making a pass. I always run out of track or run into a billboard lol

Highly recommend trying first person. Hitting lines is so much easier in this view once you get used to it. The only problem I have is when your taking the inside the ai can just lay on you and take you out from the outside. Set up is medium on everything and high gearing.

Weird, I don't seem to have any problem connecting at all. The last 2 nights have been fairly smooth, even with near full rooms. It can take a minute or two, but its never kept me from joining a game with people.

Still don't have much time into the game, but it's pretty good so far. Crashing so easily is a bit of a bummer and quite annoying from time to time. If you can not crash for a full race you can win damn near every one. I changed my rider weight to manual and physics to medium as soon as I started, but haven't screwed with the difficulty yet.

If anyone wants to play online, my gamertag is ShesAfreak. I'm usually on between 7pm-10pm pacific a few times a week.

Do any of you guys know of any organized racing sites for it? I've been looking around but I can't seem to find any.

That sucks man, do your other games work? Did you change your location to get it before the US release? I live in Ohio, have average bandwidth and I generally have no problem. Maybe email milestone about the issue.

After playing the game for a few weeks I really like this game. It's not perfect but it's far better than anything else on consoles if realism matters to you.

The tracks are mostly fantastic and pretty dead on. Bikes and riders look great. Physics are pretty similar to last game. The Real events and practice track are nice additions. Stadium tracks are meh. Online play has been solid, got rid of track cutting pretty well. Need to improve on how they handle hosts and lobbies. I play almost exclusively in 1st person, they could improve peripheral awareness but it's a blast most of the time. I think that meant to emphasize that you can't just use the inside line to use other riders as berms which can be frustrating at times, but a net positive overall.

Engine sounds and differing the feel of soil types are the glaring weaknesses imo. Whips aren't great but improved and take time to figure out, as they should. Starts could use some work also, they heard complaints about the "Ready, set, go" style from last game and changed, but not for the better. They need some sort of 30 sec card and build a bit of suspense as the engines rev up. Track feel is a bit inconsistent, Agueda feels like the sandiest track imo.

No game is perfect, but I think Milestone is steadily dialing it in. If they can keep making the MXGP game I think it will be really superb in a couple of years. It would be a great idea for them to add more US tracks.

I downloaded it on Xboxone and had the same problem. I had to uninstall it and re download, worked like a charm. Only problem is I paid for the day one edition but still don't have the extra tracks and bonus gear. bastards.

They're there, just not available until you download them. Either go to the 'My Games' section, and look for it in the game que. Or, scroll right and go to the Xbox store from the dashboard, search MXGP2, and look for the downloadable content. Both should be set as free and should download pretty quick.

Also, if you bought the day one edition through the marketplace, you got jacked. It's $10 cheaper at Walmart.

I bought the game from the UK...I never changed my location tho...You think that might be the prob? Cause the game is from the UK and I'm trying to play it in the US?

I'm not that tech savy to know for sure, but if your other games work online then it's probably not a problem with your ISP. If you played the game online before the US release it may have configured itself to UK servers? I'd probably suggest deleting the game and redownloading it. If that doesn't work email Milestone.

I don't think so as you can only customize the custom bikes. However I could be wrong
