So, being someone that has played CoD ever since Modern Warfare, the minute I put in Bad Co. 2 I was absolutely hooked. All of the sudden, everything everyone ever said about "Battlefield being way better" or "CoD not being for real gamers" sunk in. Don't get me wrong, I love CoD and the nostalgia factor is unpresidented. Being able to pick up the controller and play is something video games need, and CoD has this quality where BF takes quite some time to get acquired. With that said, for me BF has it's own unpresidented gaming experience as well. Comparing BF to CoD almost doesn't make sense because they are so different, yet they do have the obvious similarities that makes them FPS games. Seeing Infinite Warfare disappoint millions of people two minutes into the launch trailer being released definitely shocked me and I don't think they deserve the hate they're getting, but the space shit is getting a little beat to death. Meanwhile, BF1 looks like it should be the best FPS game ever. What do you guys think?
BF1 is gonna pull a lot of 2001-2006 college kids back into the mix of FPS possibly. Wish I had more time to play anymore.
BF is where it is at, perfect mix of strategy, action and realism. I have never played through a BF storyline though, only multiplayer
BF4 is awesome and only costs $20, yeh it does take maybe an hour or so to get used to all the vehicles and classes. love it when people try to hide/camp and you just blow the wall away with Tank and destructable environments.
a funny new trick i just started doing, loading a 4wheeler with c4's, jumping off and letting the 4wheeler ghost into a tank/men, then set off the C4

Battlefield1 looks amazeballs.
i just started playing the Borderlands series again, love those games. i'm mainly a single player these days anyway.
After seeing BF1 in person, that game is AMAZING.
Lately, I've gravitated more towards smaller, indie games. Mostly, Insurgency, Squad, and Rising Storm. Everyone uses coms and it's a more realistic damage model. As in, if you pop someone with a round from a M16 in the chest, they're going down. None of this BF bullsh*t where it takes an entire clip to kill someone. The games move slower, but are much more intense.
All that being said, I'll end up buying BF1. If for no other reason, nostalgia.
