I met Marc when he was living in NC, we connected via Vitalmx.com & he came by the shop I was working out so I could help get his ZX6R ready for a track day. I became friends with him and brought him to the mx track with me several times. I last talked to him about a year ago. RIP lil Merc"

Marc was one of my good friends here in NC. To say he had talent is an understatement. Marc was a go big or go home kind of guy and I loved that spirit in him. I remember most when he really wanted to build a "Chump Car" car to compete in a race in Atlanta. We had the "Beast" all in one car hauler and camper we got from an old guy in Concord and was parked in my yard for quite some time. I remember he drew this cartoon for a guy that had an old Subie we looked at for the build. It's him and I and our welder monkey named Dave. RIP old buddy and until we meet again.

Wow what a shocker. Marc always had good ideas and his drawings were amazing. He did a few projects with MX Sports through the years, including a Moto Heroes comic strip that ran in Racer X for awhile. He created kids characters working their way to Loretta's. Really cool.

About ten years ago he wanted to do some sort of moto trivia show on the internet. He asked if I could so some voice overs for it and even created this drawing of me as a game show host. I didn't even ask for it, he just drew it up and gave it to me, free of charge. Never heard from him again, though, not sure if he ever got that trivia show thing going anywhere.

Very sad. Very tragic. An amazing talent and although I only spoke with him a few times, seemed like a good person. My best to his family.
Damn just thinking about Marc, never saw this post. best cartoon of Weege yet!
