I was thinking the same thing. And then I thought about Pastrana. He might be worse off than Hoffman.

Makes me wonder about the non-crashing side of moto. Many laps, over many weekends, over many years, I've had my vision blurred by braking bumps, acceleration chop, hard landings. I crash rarely and can't recall the last time I took a hit to the shoei, but I worry about the comulative effect of all that jarring around on my 30 year path to becoming a still-sorta-swift vet rider. Especially when I can't find my keys...that I'm holding....
