Don't have an exact update, but heard he is done racing. Heard it in Vegas back in October for the Open. Someone on another board claims to ahve talked to his dad, and he said Grant is done racing. Too bad, he was one of my favs. Always liked his helmets, and his wife ain't bad either.

In October he was on DMXS. he had just gotten radiation treatments on the melanoma in his eye. The prognosis is good, they think they treated it successfully but he will still probably eventually lose the sight in that eye. He was still hoping to return to racing but he seemed ready to call it a career as long as he had his health.

He can ride, but his vision is not good enough to allow him to compete at the level he's accustomed to. BUT, he's still hoping to come back and race.

Thats the same update that I heard also. That is horrible news that eventually he is going to lose vision in one eye.
