Does anyone know why Tyler Bowers won't be lining up at all the nationals? I don't think he's hurt?

I'm 95% sure Tyler will not be on the line at Hangtown, at least not on a PC bike. I'm also 95% know that it is not due to Tyler's lack of wanting to be on the line. What I have been told--by someone in the middle of the talks/situation--Tyler very much wanted to race outdoors on a PC bike, but Mitch has not and will not build him an outdoor bike. I say only 95%, because I have to leave 5%, because the truth is never exactly what you're told, but in this situation, it's got to be close.

I'm not sure if Alldredge getting hurt in Vegas changes anything, but as recently as leaving the Las Vegas pits at 11pm, Tyler will not be at Hangtown. PC will be Savatgy, Tonus, Forkner, Cianciarulo and possibly Alldredge. I talked to Audette Saturday night and he says he's back under the Traders tent.

To be honest, it bums me out, because I think Tyler is better outdoors than he's been able to show.

Well I think he must have had enough chances to prove himself in the past, but didn't take them. He made his own bed, now he has to lie in it.

Mitch not being willing to build him a bike is ridiculous. This is only Bowers second year on the team and yeah he hasn't put in really any good results but neither has Alldredge or AC (yes I know little bit of a different situation with AC). I just think if you have a healthy rider willing to race why keep them on the couch? Who knows maybe Bowers would be better outdoors.

I feel like he might not have signed a contract to run outdoors. I know he talked about this on Pulp and it sounded confusing back then, like he wanted to ride outdoors but maybe wasn't signed to do so. That might explain why Mitch isn't building him a bike - he didn't have it in the budget in the first place.

No surprise. A bunch of the top 5 sx guys will no longer be racing the US National Motocross Series. Growing trend that will expand in the future. Hope the MX Series promoter can figure out how to reverse it or replace the talent with outdoor only guys from the ranch or all the training facilities.

As stated above, its not because Tyler doesn't want to be out there. I dont believe Mookie and Reed not doing outdoors is a growing trend. The trend has been the same for a long time, (Since MC at least) 1 or 2 guys sit out and the world keeps on moving.
