There's a good meeting on at Long Buckby, Nr Daventry this Sunday.... I'm racing, my brother is and my wife is doing her first ever race, it's nice and laid back but pretty serious when the gate drops....
There will be a lot of races on this weekend, grab a copy of tmx, sold at most news agents and petrol stations etc, there will be a new issue tomorrow, Thursday, it will have 90% of the MX on in the uk this weekend listed in the back.

As for buying a bike, take a chance on eBay etc but be careful.... Look for the obvious, frame/engine number ground off (prob stolen). Chain hanging on the floor and rusted bolts (done a beach race or two).
Four strokes that won't start in 3/4 kicks (ready for an expensive service/rebuild).
You might be better at a dealer, your copy of tmx will point you in the right direction of most of the bigger ones.

It's good fun .the fastest of the Moto Gp boys would be Marquez and jack Miller , Miller is a quick as the MXGP boys and fuck can he whip

Thought long buckby might be a little far.

We are at Binsted in Hampshire next weekend with the sidecar and of course Weston for the beach race in October.

I love Dorset and try and head down there whenever possible. Stunning countryside and some great snorkelling/diving locations. I'm stuck in East Anglia (Norfolk).

I'm from southampton, a good place for beginners thats close to you would be rogershill raceway (bere regis). As someone mentioned pick up a TMX they advertise in there when they are open as its not every weekend but there will be a mobile number you can call.
