That video is awesome. That is nothing like the wheelie boys. He is on a street legal bike, has a motorcycle license and insurance. I thought that's how duel sports are supposed to be ridden?

As sick as this video was (especially for me, going into real estate) he was breaking the law. Not much around that. It is incredibly stupid to go after someone who was jumping some hills on the side of the highway. 30 years ago a cop wouldn't care. Shoot, where I live, they still wouldn't right now!! But CA is different.

What is law enforcement's wording on how it is a crime for not using "pre approved" paths created by a transportation organization? I get the whole "society needs rules to stay civil" bit. I'm wondering what the wording says.

I ask because not every road is paved. Not everyone walks on a sidewalk. You don't get a ticket for cutting through a dirt path in a field on your feet. Technically, bicycles are supposed to use the road and not a sidewalk but if you ride on a sidewalk or go in to the grass they don't charge you with a crime. Why so on a motorcycle or in a car? Is jumping a car or motorcycle, unintentionally, considered to be okay but intentionally it's considered dangerous?

First mistake was admitting to anything.
Then
I would just argue that the guy under the helmet may or may not be Topher , can they prove who is actually riding the bike ?

Cops do a great job of getting people to convict themselves , I would not be inclined to help them if I were Topher.
