I ditched the KX 450 plan and am picking up an 09 RM-Z 450 tomorrow. Anyone have any advice that already owns the bike? Never had a Suzuki before...

My advice is to NOT buy that pile of shit. KTM and Yamaha make what you really need.

The RMZ is an excellent bike. You're right they can deliver more than most riders can use.

wow...Stewart has a bad night and everyone thinks Reed is the new speed king on his superpowered fuel injected RC replica Suzuki. So now Suzuki is the bike to have.
I didnt think it still worked that way.
I would wait for a couple more rounds to see which is the fastest bike

Every single post you make, somehow, someway, reverts to an argument for James. Too funny!

I know they are nothing like each other... I am just surprised how powerful the “win on Sunday sell on Monday” way of thinking still works out there.

I watched countless people at the track buy KX250F because RV was cleaning house on his PC KX.

And I watch countless people buy 4-strokes because that's what the manufacturer's promote. Yep, people are dumber than you think.

Hey Einstein: Zook has been building damn good bikes for years now. How many have you owned, ridden, and raced since 2004?

Quite drinking kool-aid and STFU.

I think they pulled the 08s off the floor and put 09 motors in them and re-released them. I would see if I could find one of those. Theres a dealer in WV that was practically giving them away a month or so ago.

This coming from the guy that "WOULD ONLY RIDE A KAWASAKI", but then bought a Yamaha...

You'd eat a mile of shit to buy a Suzuki if James switched over to them...

thats not why im buying it. I work for a Honda/Suzuki dealership. I can get a new CRF for about $7000, or the RM-Z for $5000. Which one would you take? As long as it stays in one piece, Im fine with it.

All the new bikes are great, I actually enjoy KTMs a lot, they seem to fit me.

The Suzuki is a great bike....I had an '08 all of last year and loved it. Plus, Suzuki is currently putting the '09 engine in mine as well.
