Thanks for adding that feature. It also seems if I return during the same internet session (not closing the browser) the ad doesn't even pop up. Great!

I complained about the ad then I discovered the skip button but I still think these ad are more iritating than helpful.

You guys do understand this forum and media outlet exists because of advertising, correct?

I do. I was an Adman myself at Hi-Torque at one time. As often as I visit VitalMX, I'm sure that Oakley is getting their moneys worth of exposure with me. In fact an ad with an interstitial skip lets me know that that the advertiser realizes that my time is also valuable and tends to make me more aware of them as a quality advertiser than one that makes me continue to see their ad after it's effectiveness is over. Thanks Oakley!

A forum can operate without advertising...motodrivel is a perfect example.

What powers this website is contributions from members not advertising dollars...again reference motodrivel.

All the advertising proves is the website is popular...again reference motodrivel.

Here you go, Trick...100% of your membership fee, cheerfully refunded. Smile

Okay, who's flying me to the next race, paying for rental car, room, and meals? I'm guessing it's...probably not motodrivel.

I could probably rustle up some cheese sandwiches and a Slim Jim or two to cover the meals.

If the ads pay for the site, then I don't mind them... Nothing is free.

I hate that most people see advertising as evil... The only reason we have tv, radio, and websites is due to advertising. You think radio stations started because they wanted to spread music to the masses? You think FOX broadcasts the NFL just because they like football? You think NBC and Speed carry moto just because a high up there likes the sport? Nope. Its about selling advertising.
