I found this old school Supercross vid from back in 92, lots of old times here.. Stanton, Bradshaw, Kiedrowski, Emig, Bayle, Cooper, Matiasevich and a few others.

Stanton and Bayle got together and Jean-Michel went down as a result, pretty much cost him a shot at the title going into the last race.

Maybe these have been posted before... if so, sorry Smile

The incident sure made the final a couple months later interesting. Maybe the most bizarre race ever. I think Bobby or Scittie may have vidoe of that.

I dug out VHS tapes of Indy and Tampa 1992 last night and watched them. Tampa was a hell of a race. Numerous guys running three wide for the lead. JMB, Stanton, Cooper, Larocco, Bradshaw, Emig, Chicken and then McGrath who was riding some of the east coast rounds on a Team Peak Pro-Circuit CR250 that a friend of mine now owns. Bayle hung back the whole race and zapped Stanton near the end. Hannah was the announcer down on the floor. Good stuff!

Yeah, the final was funny, JMB would NOT pass Bradshaw because it was going to help Stanton in the Championship hehe...

To bad JMB didn't stick around for the 93 season, it would have been nice to see him and McGrath go at it... Sad

92 San Jose SX was the only race I ever attended that it was harder to leave the pits than get into them. The security staff they had working left a lot to be desired.

Fortunately the racing was good....

I was there in a walking cast. The 125 main was great McGrath was dead last I think after a crash and Buddy Antunez was way out front MC caught him at the end for the win.

And the riders have to but I know very few on this board will agree.
