11. If a rider stops for any reason during an event, he must
restart without any outside assistance. An attempt to help under any other situation will
result in the rider’s disqualification.

WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO COMPREHEND?

How can you people keep missing this part....WE KNOW ITS OK TO PUSH THE DAMN BIKE OFF THE TRACK ...but holding the bike up so the rider can stand on both pegs
and start it violates the AMA rules...remember this?.... If a rider stops for any reason during an event, he must
restart without any outside assistance.

Now watch some dumbass post that its ok to get helped OFFTHE TRACK and think he's carrying on a decent conversation...I give up.

Is that from the pro or amateur rulebook? Someone else posted an excerpt from the pro rulebook that states they can get help from a specified member of their team from the start of the race through the first turn.

No rules were broken, thats why every major team has a guy working the first turn, you're allowed to assist in any way possible, (from the starting gate to the exit of the first turn) except starting a motorcycle... You can throw bikes outta the way, get them pointed in the right direction, hold them while the rider starts it, push them away. There was more than just James getting assistance. Each major team holds a "track access" credential, and this is exactly what their intended for. Because of this there are also a helluva lot less redflagged races.

Are you even reading the other posts? You're looking @ the wrong rules. Even if they were following the rule you're looking @: However, if a rider falls, blocking the course and endangering other riders, he may receive help or That portion makes it legal. It's - he may recieve help OR

Stewart shoulda been DQ'd. Hell, if 3 guys didn't help him, he would've probably got on a golf cart and tried to get in the top 10.

A 138 IQ and in your profile pic you're not wearing a helmet riding a street bike. So much for a correlation between being smart and IQ tests....

DUMB ASS.
