Although Jlaw has been talked about quite a bit on here. Advertising is all about brand recognition. I haven't seen one monster, one, or am/pm logo anywhere in all the discussion about him. In fact, I'd almost be willing to say that there is 10 times more advertisement in this thread than the other 10 pages out there on this site about him.

I don't think any of this rambling is helping his sponsors.

His lites season is over. If he made a move now (assuming the AMA is going to sweep this under the rug) he might be able to score some points in the SX class. If I were doing this deal on my own dollar, that's were I'd be. Come on Jason, move on up to the 450. Everyone knows that class is easier anyway. Get in there with the big boys and prove us all wrong. Earn you a spot for next year in a real semi.

You old schoolers out there, a question.
I was always told Ron Lechein and Chicken had some tall tales from their race days...is there any comparison to Jlaw and those old school guys?

Hey I resemble that remark!

Not really much comparison to the Dogger. He was so fast and smooth, it was amazing. Chicken had some similarity, but nothing like the consistent lack of respect Jason has.

All were fast, or are fast. All made their mark in moto history, and 2 of the 3 should have been much more successful than the record books show.

Jlaw is the only one that can change those facts, but if past history repeats itself Jason will be the third in that line.

the guy is a dumb-ass. there is no denying his talent, but personally I prefer watching people with talent AND dedication. This is what makes a true champion imo.

What is he going to do next? win a championship or fall off a pit-bike stoned and pissed?

What you seem to be forgetting is that these guys aka your childhood hero's did in fact have incidents like this they were no saints. The difference now is the INTERNET which gives self proclaimed "Insiders" a place to spew something they heard secondhand. Had this gone down in the 80's not a single one of you would've known about or known very little at best. thus these boards give you a place to pass on your richeous judgement when you actually weren't there to see it and received the account from 2 people that hate Jlaw ....im thinking a little biased. So without the internet the closest thing you would get as far as inside info is cycle news and how bad is it really? Monster energy is sponsoring the sport so you boycott them ....could be worse when camel and coors used to sponsor then you'd have to give up cigarettes and beer.

Not to say it didn't go down but there also was a couple people saying the argument between Hansen and Boniface escalated when Boniface headbutted Hansen....thats a pretty serious form of assault.
