Sondy... WTF? I am not talking about the sports popularity but rather the expectations they have for their athletes. Did I mention NASCAR? Are you saying anyone could play in the NBA because of more opportunity?

What you replied with has nothing to do with raising the age a rider can turn pro... But hey, let's bounce from this thread to the current age thread... I need to go play with my 3 yo daughter and start prepping her for her podium speeches... only 13 more years!!!
Highschool and College football players are coddled if they are the top in their field, they get tutors, hell they have people taking tests for them, don't think they are smartest in the bunch. There are a select few who are intelligent, just like in MX Roncada is brilliant and a genius, I have to think RC and JS are pretty smart themselves, just from what I have witnessed, so what the NFL's expectations are ???? They are just hoping they don't have another Michael Vick coming down the line to make the sport look bad, we just have Lawrence and thank god he's not running in the dog fighting arena.

P,
Malcolm has been riding pretty good. At regionals he had speed but lacked on the starts. He won 4 stroke and run anywhere from top 5 to around 8th in the A motos. He actually come out top 3 in one and moved into the lead quickly and led about 4 laps until he slid out in a corner and dropped back. With guys like Futrell, Les Smith, Rife, Trettell, Kyle Engle and plenty more it was hard to work your way up front with a not so decent start.
On a personal note...we battled a little at Thunder Valley (Tn.) in the first 250A moto and he finally passed me about the 4th lap and had an altercation with another rider on the last lap. 1 for me...0 for Mookie. Naw, he looks just like James when you see him on the track.
Funny story...when asked where big James was, Mookies mom said they made him stay home so he would not mess up her and Malcolms routine they had been using this year since big James was with Bubba all the time. I thought that was cool...
