That was too easy.
Come at me with something real and substantiative and we can start this again. But if all you are going to do is give some half-ass talking points in response to everything, then it's really a bore for me.
I wonder why that is???
Oh yeah, because he's my little puppet....I tug a string over here, and he does exactly what I want him too.
Tap out now, dude...really, don't make me break your arm....just tap out and I'll let you go.

And if you are interested in "tugging", I think there are posts on craigslist for people like you...
It's hard to claim victory when you're the one walking away (and making sorry ass excuses at that).
Let me give you some advice (i'm not in the education business...but for a dumb ass like you, I'll make an exception, but only because I feel bad for you)....When you say you "aren't going to waste your time with me" as soon as you reply to me again...you lose. It's pretty simple.
Don't say shit you don't mean, and you'll be that much better off.
You do know I'm a man right? Do you make a habit of calling men sweetie?
Um....that's a little bit...um...pssst...gay...(not that there is anything wrong with that)...
Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow...I'm going riding.
Oh yeah, and the "gay" comments, come on. I expected more from you. Now shut the fuck up.
Time to party.
Patience is a second grade spelling quiz.
Tomorrow's lesson will be irony.
If you can't get out by the close, don't get in. The ride's not over yet.
This is the perfect environment to make BIG money if you can keep from being to greedy because the reverse holds true also.
The S&P 500 closed at about 900 on Friday. If that's the bottom, we will get nice little rally within a short time (Today), but we will revisit that 900 area but on lower volume. This cycle could happen 2 or 3 times but with lower volume each time. I will usually buy on the 2nd or 3rd visit.
All this depends on market fundamentals though. Right now there aren't any. PE ratios are useless right now until we see what the earnings and forecast look like.
Go on Yahoo finance and pull up the interactive chart for the S&P. by using the date bar at the bottom you can zoom in on previous corrections and you will see what I'm talking about.
I do not call this recent crash a correction, I aint buyin til I see the pattern I'm looking for though.
Ivan,
Why not ride the wave?
We get a few more days and confidence comes back and confidence is what fuels this thing.
That being said I believe there is more bad news on the way.
I forgot that dougie is on a dial up so using the interactive charts just won't work. But check out the last big plunge on the S&P in 2000. A lot of people thought it found the bottom in Oct of 01'. They got hurt. When it did find the bottom, it cycled at least 3 times before it climbed out. That's what I'm looking for.
Pit Row
That stock is all about emotion, I love that fucker.
I will check out SDS, I have never played with the indexes like you do but I like the theory.
SSO does the opposite?
the subprime issue caused a credit crisis and that the rest of the world invested heavily in our housing boom. heck i guess they are greedy just like we are
anyway..........
wall street stopped buying that paper overnight, sometime last year which is why so many mortgage brokers have gone under(we don't hear so much about that anymore d we???). at the global crux is that many of those mortgages were being sold on the world market so now those folks are stuck with bad paper.
ok you with me? basically this is pinching the banks cause someone ultimatley has to be responsible for the paper.
another scenario we have here, and all over the world for that matter is that companies work on credit, that is nothing new. an example shows how dangerous this can be is, company ABC needs x amount of credit at certain points in the year to meet payroll.
what the hell happens when credit runs dry? it's not that the bank doesn't want to lend to that company, they'd love to(they've proftitted from it in the past and they need that now), the fundamental issue is that the money cannot be lent right now(if they even have it). the bank has to hold on to it to ensure their own future (to the best of their ability)!!!
