Found myself in New Orleans this past week w/camera. If you want to take a look at what the Lower 9th Ward looks like 33 months after Katrina, vist www.rexbackman.com. While these are images of the pain and loss, there is hope and optimism.

I was there a year ago & took these. it was heartbreaking seeing so many homes destroyed.
