Magoo on Safety...

Danny was such a good rider and so fast that I couldn't decide if he was 100% crazy or just that much more gifted than everybody else . . . Great guy tho

danny was a little crazy but his talent on a bike is to this day unsurpassed in my opinion. danny rode a scooter almost every day of his young life and he knew what a scooter could do. he didn't know what limits his body could do on a scooter. one of the best human beings in moto and one of the fastest that's ever lived.

I do not agree with everything he says but I do belive we need better safety gear problem is how do we tell people that they have to wear something that has not been properly tested or can show proof of what it does?

Like I said....Magoo just called, said shut the fuck up..please. (Magoo is polite, gotta give him that).

I seriously doubt Magoo would waste his time with that he has bigger fish to fry trying to get the A.M.A and such to listen to him and if he did call with that kind of response that might be why no one is listening to him. Trust me though when I say this the man is very smart atleast from when I met him and he is not the type that would waste his time with something so dumb (if he did he was having a real horrible day.) I stand by my opinion after breaking my back 3 years ago that we need better safety gear but we also need better research to make sure this gear is doing what it is supposed too.

Damn, that brought tears to my eyes. Bravo to Danny for being as outspoken now as he always has been.
