Anyone watch History channel last nite.. and slit wrists?

I made the mistake of grabbing a couch for a while and watching "Mega Disasters: Oil Apocalypse", followed by "Modern Marvels: Strange Weapons". The first show chronicled how oil supplies are being spent, and how the coming decades will likely feature global chaos, war, and economic collapse as the planet struggles to procure the resource. Then, the second show featured developing weapons technology like lasers that can take out stuff from hundreds of miles away, and various other weird systems that would control "dissidents". It was like watching 2 hours of "really bad shit is coming down, and governments are busy making sure everyone falls in line".

Remember all the science-fiction and dystopian literature and films over the past hundred years? It's like they dont make them much any more. Maybe because its barely fiction these days...

Buy stock in the "vice fund" market (alcohol, tobacco, drugs) and at least you can maybe make enough to buy NY Governor-level hookers.

Watch "The World Without People" you'll feel better. Grizzly Bears and Lions pretty much run things. Oh and the wolves too.

No worries.
