Although the high altitude is tough for riders and bikes, it looks like Team Ti Lube/MotoXXX Performance/StormLakeHonda.com held their own. Teddy Maier is just 19-points behind Sellards and I think Colt Humphrey has the West Lites won. Kurt McCabe raced both classes...an animal at 6k feet high!

Good luck to all, tonight! Jimi J

The couple of years I attended Denver, the local bikes seemed to run like they had 305cc kits in them! 8)

Just sayin'....

I wish I was with them, in Denver.

Looks like I may be back for the finale in Green Bay, in two weeks. Anybody there needs to look me up, in the pits, and say "Hello".

What a takeout war. I've never seen two guys ride dirtier than Bannister and Calderini. It seems they both had it out for McCabe as Bannister put him literally into a wall Friday night on the last lap when a simple block pass would suffice and then Calderini performed a wide open T bone on the first lap of the main Saturday. I've seen guys DQ'd for a lot less, yet these guys were let slide. Both of them were definitely going fast, but the fact they were riding this way was beyond typical Arenacross and was extremely dangerous.

The Johnson brothers had the hardpack dirt dialed and K Smith was on the pipe until the main Saturday. The track design needed some work, the short starts still suck, and the racing and show was good.

Those two race together basically everyweek..it was a good show to see a little bit of banging bars..and once Bannister blew his bike up...he was cheering Calderini on....they are friends off of the track

Oh they were plenty nice to eachother, they just liked throwing BS t-bones to the other guys. I've been cleaned out more than once and done a lot of slamming and ramming in my day, so I know what it is like... and those two are simply DIRTY. Their bikes sounded like 450s in the thin Denver air too... strokers?

if youre worried about it throw a protest out there. i wasnt at the event so i cant confirm or deny your stories of them racing "dirty" but i have seen kevin johnson showing up at a lot of our local summer sx races battling with kyle and travis. obviously if he thought they were going to ride "dirty" he wouldnt show up and risk getting hurt.

Why would I protest? I was simply a bystander watching on. I have a good bit of Arenacross experience, from a racers and a fans standpoint. KJ would show up for the money - and I beg to differ... if there is money it doesn't matter who is there and how they ride, you still have to pay the bills.

Bannister and Calderini proved they can pass clean and effectively while racing eachother, as they would block pass but not t-bone eachother. When they were passing others they continuously left them laying in the dirt. If they can pass eachother clean why couldn't they race that way with the other guys out there?

I'm a huge fan of tight, rubbing is racing Arenacross - but when guys are getting hit as hard and dirty as Bannister and Calderini were doing, it's dangerous and they have no place on the track.

Well for one My bike is about as stock as they get no stroker, no bore kit if you wanna check go ahead. I also think your getting carried away with the dirty rider thing, it is arenacross thats what happens. If you have been around it for so long then you probley should know that. If you have been keeping up on AMA SX What happend with Preston and Sorby? I dont think our passes were worse then that did they get DQ? I guess if you are going to be in Green Bay come talk to me there I will let you ride my bike ,then you can determine if it is bored or stroked. As far as the dirty riding thing I can show you dirty riding at the next race or I can Race like I did in Denver.
